Continental GT brake dust situation is ridiculous (4 อ่าน)

14 มี.ค. 2569 01:18

I honestly spend more time cleaning my wheels than driving this car I swear. My 2022 Continental GT produces this insane amount of brake dust that coats the front wheels completely black after just a few days of driving around Dubai, like from DIFC to Jumeirah and back and they're already filthy. I know performance cars need good brakes and I'm not complaining about the stopping power because that's amazing but there must be a better option out there that doesn't turn everything black within a week. The car is my daily driver so I'm doing maybe 500 kilometers a week around town and the dust buildup is driving me crazy. I've been looking for Dubai Bentley brake pad change technicians who might carry different pad compounds that dust less while still maintaining that Bentley refinement and stopping ability. A friend with a Flying Spur mentioned something about ceramic pads but he wasn't sure if they work well with these heavy cars. Has anyone here switched to a different pad on their Continental or Bentayga? Would love to know if it actually makes a noticeable difference in dust or if I'm just wasting money. Also if you know a workshop in Al Quoz or around Sheikh Zayed that really understands these cars and can recommend the right setup please let me know, don't want to experiment with a car like this.
